Beginning in Fall 2026, all grant applications must be submitted through the Foundation’s online grant management system, Foundant.
Do you accept applications submitted before the grant cycle opens?
Yes. However, applications submitted before the official opening date will be held and reviewed once the grant cycle begins.
Are small grants, sponsorships, or time-sensitive requests considered outside of the regular grant cycle?
Yes. The foundation may review and make decisions on small grants, sponsorships, and time-sensitive funding requests on a rolling basis at its discretion.
Do returning grantees need to reapply?
Yes. All returning grantees are required to submit a new application during each grant cycle to be considered for funding.
When are grant funds distributed?
While funding decisions are typically made during designated grant cycles, approved grants may be disbursed in a subsequent season or outside the formal grant cycle. Grantees will be notified in advance of any adjusted funding schedule.
Are there reporting requirements for grant recipients?
Yes. By accepting a grant from the Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation, organizations agree to provide impact and operational reports as requested by the Foundation.
